Established in 2010, EIT InnoEnergy operates at the centre of the European energy transition, as a leading n innovation engine dedicated to accelerating sustainable solutions supporting early-stage innovation, new industrial opportunities and talent.

We specialise in several areas:

• Early-stage investment innovation: Investing in companies and connecting entrepreneurs and innovators to an ecosystem of resources, operational support and capital. Our focus is on the development of technologies, services, and solutions that aim to make energy cleaner, less costly, and more reliable.
• New industrial opportunities: Playing a pivotal role in decarbonising Europe by We lead industrial value chains in strategic sectors, including the including battery storage, green hydrogen, and solar photovoltaics. We are the driving force behind three strategic European initiatives which include the European Battery Alliance (EBA), the European Green Hydrogen Acceleration Center (EGHAC) and the European Solar Photovoltaic Industry Alliance (ESIA). We also support up-skilling and re-skilling by providing training to the global workforce needed in these areas.
